What is the ideal keyword density for SEO content?

On-Page SEO

There’s no ideal percentage. Search systems evaluate usefulness, context, and entities rather than counting exact keyword frequency. Over‑optimizing (“shoehorning” the phrase in every sentence) can trigger spam signals and harm readability.

Better approach:

1) Place the primary term in the title, H1, URL, and first 100–150 words to establish topic.

2) Cover subtopics and related entities comprehensively; use synonyms and natural phrasing.

3) Write for humans first; review with a readability checker and remove repetitive phrasing.

4) Use schema where relevant to disambiguate entities (e.g., Product, Organization, FAQ).

Example: Instead of repeating “best CRM for startups” 20 times, discuss evaluation criteria (seat pricing, integrations), compare named tools, and include a decision matrix.
